THE PROJECT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wayang Sodo is a distinctive cultural practice developed in Bejiharjo, Karangmojo, Gunungkidul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made from sodo<\/em>, the rib of young coconut leaves, Wayang Sodo brings together material knowledge, storytelling, characters, music, performance, and local ecological imagination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project explores how the cultural practice can be developed through creative innovation while maintaining its connection with the community and its cultural context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
